Padstow

Padstow is a unique and unspoilt harbour town, situated on the West side of the beautiful Camel Estuary. It boasts excellent restaurants specialising in locally caught fish and seafood.

At any time of the year you can enjoy the spectacular cliff and estuary walks.

Water-sports such as; sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing and surfing are freely available, all with expert tuition. Surrounding the Padstow area are some of the finest beaches in Cornwall. Two championship golf courses provide excellent facilities for the novice or the more experienced golfer.

Fishing trips leave daily from the harbour, offering a variety of trips such as mackerel, shark, wreck and bottom trips.

Padstow and the surrounding area has something for everyone.

Why not visit out of season, when you can experience a real working port, avoiding the crowds, but often finding excellent weather.
Padstow is currently at the end of the Sustran Bristol to Penzance cycle way.
Obby 'Oss On May 1st, Padstow, festooned with flags and flowers, heralds the coming of summer. The pagan 'Obby 'Oss is unleashed and the whole town drums with a carnival atmosphere from dawn to dusk. Chances are you'll bump into the cavorting beast as it wends its way through the revellers taking part in this age old tradition.
